16 year old homeless High School student graduates two years early with College scholarship

Resilient Washington, DC resident, 16-year-old Destyni Tyree who lives in a homeless shelter with her mum recently overcame extraordinary odds to not only graduate from high school two years ahead of schedule with a 4.0 grade point average, but she also received an academic scholarship to college.Destyni and her family were forced to make the shelter their home after her mother lost her job a few years ago, but the hard-working teenager refused to let her situation affect her. She said she used her unfortunate circumstances as motivation rather than letting it get her down.

Human Remains Found Inside 14ft Crocodile

Human remains - believed to be missing woman Cindy Waldron - have been found inside a 4.3m (14ft) crocodile captured in Queensland, Australia.

Ms Waldron, 46, was with her friend in shallow water at Thornton Beach late on Sunday night when she was pulled under after only a minute in the water.

Leeanne Mitchell tried in vain to pull Ms Waldron from the reptile's jaws as it dragged her under.

Police said the crocodile was caught and humanely put down in nearby Cooper Creek on Friday afternoon.

The remains were discovered after the dead animal was taken to Cairns for examination.

Two women have been arrested on suspicion on murder after the disappearance of a baby more than 11 years ago.

Detectives say human remains were found at a house in north London.

A 50-year-old woman was arrested after officers attended a home on Fryent Crescent in West Hendon on Monday, and a 31-year-old woman was detained in Luton, Bedfordshire.

On Tuesday, detectives re-arrested the two women, as well as a 52-year-old man, on suspicion of preventing a lawful and decent burial.

Private James died from a gunshot in 1995A coroner has found that Private Cheryl James died from a "self-inflicted" gunshot wound at Deepcut barracks in 1995.

The ruling that she was not unlawfully killed follows a second inquest into the death of the 18-year-old soldier, who was found shot dead while she was on guard duty.

She was one of four soldiers who died at Deepcut in Surrey between 1995 and 2002 amid claims of bullying and abuse.

In the early hours of Saturday May 28th, unknown gunmen raided the house of a man named Joseph Msen Akosu and killed him with his wife after which they were burnt beyond recognition.
